Stanley

Meet Stanley the lamb who lives at Uncle M and Aunt Coca's house. We were invited over to meet him when he was just a week old and he is sooo cute, and tiny. He is being bottle fed by Aunt Coca as his mother didn't take him.
He and bubby got along well being close to the same size.
They were equally curious about the other.
Bubby was even ready to try out Stanley's bottle.
Let's play!
All the kids enjoyed him.

But Aunt Coca was where he would go when it got too exciting or scary.
When he gets his bottle his little tail wiggles all over like a happy puppy. :)

 Phone games!

Mr. Tech is always good at those.

I didn't get pictures of the fun trip to the barn were the kids enjoyed feeding and greeting the cows, and sheep and swinging from the rafters and "mountain climbing" on the hay bales! Farm life is so much fun when someone else is doing all the work! :)
Thank you for sharing Stanley and for the  fun evening!

Winter days!

We got a week of 20 degree and lower temperatures around here which added a bit of variety to life. Almost every morning started off with this awesome sunrise over Mt. Hood; it goes great with a hot cup of coffee!  This is from the kitchen window, my inspiration for the day!

The temperatures were soo cold most the week that we spent the days indoors trying to keep warm. But on the last day of the cold snap we got this dusting of snow to go along with the ice scapes the boys had been enjoying.

Jul's got the first run down the snowy slide.

She also made sure the chickens got their exercise.

 Phi scrounged around,

and found enough snow to make a small snowman!

And it was cold enough that even tho' the grass was not covered we were able to sled down the back hill!

 Awaiting our turn...

Yay! we made it to the bottom!

We did afternoon school this day, as the snow melted outdoors and we quit worrying about keeping the faucets dripping and the windows covered and the heaters on..

Bubby, our little chocolate faced monkey. He's very proud of the fact that he can stand up himself... as long as he hangs on to something!
And a serenade by the Three Musketeers to end the day.
