The shower given for Jadon was on Friday morning at Zac and Michelle's house.
This is the front room where we enjoyed refreshments, opened gifts, played games and had a lovely time.
The invitation asked everyone to bring a book for Jadon, which is such a fun idea!
These are the awesome napkins that some talented ladies made! for the shower.
They made great bibs too.
And the patterns were so fun!
Cow straws and wooden utensils finished it off.
The awesome fruit tray
Fun drink cups.
These two ladies surprised Sus and showed up for the shower all the way from Oregon!
We used to love to hold Beth when she was this size!!
And a fun picture of all the shower attendees.
Jadon and Melissa
Baby Shower Bingo was played, as well as, everyone got a pin, and if we got caught saying "cute" we had to give it up to the person who caught you. Whoever collected the most won that one. Everyone was also asked to bring a baby picture of themselves and they were secretly arranged on a board with numbers for each and then we had to guess who was who.
Jul's spent pretty much the entire shower up in this little girls paradise.
So much to do so little time. :)
Sus reading thru the card from the group gift from Gresham and Vancouver! Another fun surprise from back home!!
While us ladies were partying the guys headed to the farm, and then off to check out what was called an "Air museum". It ended up being more about war then planes but that was OK. When we got home to OR. Phi asked why we didn't do school while we were in IL?. I told him we did, we learned about the farm and airplanes and flight attendants, pilots and Indiana and Illinois. "And we learned about war," he added. They ended their party with lunch at Wendy's and Frosties, a favorite here!!
"Back at the ranch" reading some of the new stories with Aunt Sus!
Ethan, enjoying the quiet evening. :)
Jul's loved this little table, chairs, play dishes and dollies and played with pretty much every day we were there.
And a video of Jadon as it gives a little taste of what he's really like better than pictures do.
Love seeing and hearing all about your trip, and more pics of Jadon. What a sweet little guy! Looks like a fun shower. Thanks for the video. What a treat!
