Ethan's first snow that he would remember.
It started at 8 o clock this morning and didn't stop until 6 tonight!
It came with wind and temps in the 20's so a bit chilly.
But we braved it for short periods several times today.
And watched it get deeper and deeper!!
And worried a bit about loved ones that might be out in it... and then looked out at the multitude of birds that were enjoying the feeder and were reminded:

We read books with Gramma Jo on Skype since she couldn't come to our house today. And compared snow levels with Grampa Dave the same way. :)
And watched the snow continue to fall from the cozy inside.
And then braved some short sledding runs on the back hill.

Invented some pizza muffins for lunch for something warm. They were Phi's idea really, he wanted to know what would happen if we put pizza dough in muffin cups. I did roll it out a bit thick and had to scoop out a bit of the center before I could fill it with sauce. But it was a success otherwise!
Notice the jetting roof line, testament to the blowing east wind.
So that's what's happening at our house on this happy Thursday!!
